The young, energetic Blank Canvas have been stirring waves across Scotland’s live scene this year, with sell out shows at the likes of Sneaky Pete’s, Cabaret Voltaire and King Tuts.
Blank Canvas combine spiky and jagged guitar experimentation, strong post punk basslines and Yeasayer-esque drumming with refreshingly honest vocals. Having played with bands like Little Comets, Housse De Racket and a co headline gig with Discopolis, their massive sound is at its best live. They were also hand picked by Scottish radio king Vic Galloway to play his first ever gig night at Electric Circus in Edinburgh.
