Conquering Animal Sound
Conquering Animal Sound is made up of Anneke Kampman and James Scott, residents of Glasgow, UK.
A musical project in its infancy but one that is filled with much promise and potential. Their live show is something of awe-inspiring greatness, creating loops, beats and samples out of anything and everything with Anneke’s sumptuous vocals carrying the sounds to what seems like a new world.
“We met at University, and have been playing together since November 2008. Beginning with two loop pedals, a harp, a toy keyboard and some microphones, we’ve let our sound and ideas grow with various instruments, hardwares, softwares, and just whatever comes to hand. Many people have been really good to us, lots of people have asked us to play shows, and some of them have even been far away.”
CAS released debut album “Kammerspiel” on Gizeh Records/Mini50 Records on February 7th 2011.
